Community News:
Joe Ritner and family entertained the young folks of Victory with a dance
Friday night.  Many were present from the surrounding districts.  The
dance was given in honor of Mr. Ritner's 67th birthday.  Mr. Ritner was a
union soldier during the civil war, and is still very active despite the
67 years and hardships he left behind him.  The evening was spent in the
most enjoyable way.  The "Ha, Ha" part of the program was the performance
of a dance by the host.  Mrs. Carmony, Will Robinson and Jessie Adams sang
several songs much to the delight of the guests.  All departed wishing Mr.
Ritner many more joyous birthdays.
