Elizabeth Barber married Joseph Gill Stiles, 13 March 1799, in Oglethorpe County, Georgia. Joseph Gill Stiles was born in Chesterfield County, Virginia ca. 1779, the son of John Stiles, Revolutionary soldier from Virginia and his wife Agnes Franklin. John and Elizabeth Stiles had four daughters[1]42 born to them before Elizabeth died in 1805, at the age of 25. She is buried at the side of her husband in Jones County, Georgia.
