I will followup with the "1918" diary. I you prefer to rearrange this so that the 1918 diary is all together, I do not object--I left it "as i"s because it shows that paper and record making in those days was not as we know it today. Also, you may want to extract the tax roles for local files. Bill Morrison Waco TX [The following pages contain my true transcription of Harvey Morrison's journal containing, inter alia, his daily diary for the year 1917 & part of 1918 [which is continued later?]. The first two numbered pages are missing and pages 3 through 7 appear to contain Texola City [located a few miles west of Erick, OK on, then, old Hwy 66] property tax information. Pages 8 & 9 are blank. Harvey did not make his diary entries on the pages of this book in complete chronological order. He sort'a fitted some entries in where he found room. Remember "paper" was not so easily available in those days ! Harvey, born 6 July 1848 would have been 69 years old in 1917. Bill Morrison, Waco] Texola City Name Value Tax Anthony J.
