A telegram from Congressman McClintic, at Washington, D. C., brought the information that the remains of Cecil Jeffcoat, whose parents, Mr. and Mrs. Conor Jeffcoat, now reside in this city, were buried in the national cemetery at Arlington, on Thursday afternoon, last. Later a letter from our congressman brought us the information that he had attended this funeral, and that the flag which covered the casket in its trip from France was being sent to the Headlight, with the request that it be delivered to the bereaved parents. The flag arrived on Wednesday morning and that afternoon was presented to Mrs. Jeffcoat. (www.ancestry.com) National Cemeteries: Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Virginia, Site #4023: Cecil E.
