(26 Jan 1911, Thursday, The Carter Express, Carter, Beckham Co, OK): A family reunion was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. S. T. McInturff last Sunday in Carter. A. C. McInturff, father of S. T., who resides with him, is eighty-two years old, and has thirteen children and one hundred and ten grandchildren and great, great grandchildren. This fine old gentleman is still hale and hearty, and no one at this reunion was more active and jolly in the participations of the occasion than Grandpa McInturff. Among those present were: Mr. and Mrs. Dolph McInturff, Washington, D. C.; Mr. and Mrs. W. R. McInturff and Mr. and Mrs. Alex McInturff of Hammon; Mrs. Sarah Johnston and son Herbert of Oklahoma City; Henry McInturff of Cheyenne; Mrs. May Barnes and sons of Hooker; Mr. and Mrs. Coy McInturff of Port; Mr. and Mrs. Homa Burton of Poarch; Mrs. Lillie Hunt and daughter of Poarch; Mr. and Mrs. E. E. McInturff of Carter, and a number of others whose name we failed to get.
