She grew up and graduated from Strong City High School. She was employed by Reynolds Mercantile in Cheyenne, OK. She later moved to Elk City, Ok and was manger of the Credit Union in Elk City. She was united in marriage to Lester Adams in Cheyenne, OK June 15, 1936. After he was discharged from the Army in 1945 they moved to California. To this union was born one son Tommy Dwayne and one daughter Donna. She was a member of the Baptist Church. She served as President of California Women Business and Professional Organizations. She was employed by the State of California for thirty years. She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband Lester of the home in Fresno, CA, one son Tommy and his wife, Myrtle of Sacramento, CA; one daughter Donna Hall her late husband David Hall; two grandchildren, Karen and Erick Hall; one great grandchilld Christian David Hall; three sisters Florence Gray, Woodward, OK, Dorothy Summit of Oklahoma City, OK and Louise Greteman, Roswell, NM; two brothers Elwin Kendall of Lodi, CA and Jack Kendall of Midwest City, Ok. Services were at Baptist Tabernacle in Fresno, California and Interment in Fresno, CA
