Beckham Co. OK Ida (Wooley) Alexander Melanie Alexander Mrs. Ida Alexander, 808 West Avenue D died at her home here at noon Saturday. Funeral arrangements had not been completed early Saturday night, but rites are expected to be held Sunday afternoon. [7 Nov 1937 - Sun]. Her death was attributed to typhoid fever. .......... Funeral services for Mrs. Ida Alexander, 19, were held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 at the Church of God with Rev. W. M. Cochran officiating. [7 Nov 1937 ] Mrs. Alexander died Saturday, November 6, at a local hospital after an illness of 10 days from typhoid fever. She was born July 20, 1918, at Mayfield and had lived most of her life in this county. She was a member of the Baptist church. Survivors are her two-year-old son, Henry Lee, and one sister, Mrs. Winnie Alexander. Burial was in Fairlawn cemetery at Elk City.
