Wayne C. Allen
SHAMROCK - Wayne C. Allen, 70, died Monday, May 29, 2000.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in First Baptist Church at Erick, Okla. 
Burial will be in Independence Cemetery at Vincent, Okla., by Wright Funeral 
Directors of Shamrock.

Mr. Allen was born in Harmon County, Okla., and moved with his family in 1945 
to Perryton. In 1975, he moved to Shamrock, where he built homes and owned and 
operated an earth-moving equipment company. He retired in 1993. He was a Baptist 
and a member of the Elks Lodge of Perryton.

He married Faye Rush in 1949 at Perryton.

Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Debra Kay Allen of Shamrock, Delania 
Baumann of Sallisaw, Okla., and Donna Sue Allen of Oklahoma City; two sons, David 
Wayne Allen of Elk City, Okla., and Douglas Kenneth Allen of Amarillo; two brothers, 
Kenneth Allen of Perryton and Bob Allen of Vincent; a sister, Dena Smith of Amarillo; 
12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
