He was taken suddenly ill late Saturday while at work having become too hot which is thought to have brought on his fatal illness. Judson was a brother of C. C. and Carl Allsup of Willow, and of Mrs. Ad Hill of Carter. Mrs. Hill and Carl Allsup and Mr. Franklin Allsup, another brother from McAlistor, all left Sunday for Dallas where they attended the funeral on Monday. The remains were then brought to Willow and interment was made in the Spring Creek cemetery on Tuesday at which place the deceased was given a Masonic burial, he being a member of that order at Dallas at the time of his death. He was formerly a member of the lodge here and was buried by the Masons here at the request of the Dallas Lodge. Mr. Allsup was a single man about forty years old and was living with his mother at the time of his death. -------------------- Judson Bailey Allsup was the son of Henry Pulliam and Syrilda Jane Hines Allsup.
