ALLSUP, DELL
(23 Sep 1927, The Carter Express, Carter, Beckham Co, OK):
Dell Allsup, the young daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Allsup, residing
south of Carter across the river, died of appendicitis on Wednesday of
last week.
She had been ill only a few days and had undergone an operation at her
home and on the previous day of her death she was seemingly getting along
nicely, but later her condition grew much worse, resulting in death.  She
was thirteen years of age.
The remains were laid to rest in the Spring Creek cemetery on Thursday.
Mr. Allsup and family have the united sympathy, not only of their own
neighborhood but here at Carter as well, in the loss of their sweet little
girl.
