ALLSUP, LEE ROY
(1 July 1921, The Carter Express, Carter, Beckham Co, OK):
A nine year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Columbus Allsup was taken seriously
ill with appendicitis or complications and carried to the hospital at Elk
city where he underwent an operation Wednesday, the operation however was
too late and he died there that evening.
The remains were brought back and buried in the Carter cemetery Thursday
evening.

Whereas it has pleased our Heavenly Father to enter the home of our
Brother, Columbus C. Allsup, and take from their beloved three year old
child, Lee Roy, who passed from this life on the 29th of June; Therefor be
it resolved by Carter Lodge A. F. A. M. No. 423 that we extend to Brother
Allsup and family our heartfelt sympathy in this their hour of bereavement
and assure them that we feel deeply their affliction and pray that God's
free spirit may uphold them in this sad hour.
