Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors Colonial Chapel with the Rev. Doug Yates, pastor of First Church of the Nazarene, officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Mrs. Ammons was born in Elk City, Okla., and moved to Pampa in 1946 from Lefors. She was a therapist and volunteer for the Pampa Sheltered Workshop until her retirement in 1992. She was a member of First Church of the Nazarene. She married Tom Ammons in 1946 at Lefors. Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Karon Hendricks of DeSoto; two sons, Dale Ammons and Kerry Ammons, both of Pampa; a sister, Maxine Hapeman of Pampa; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
