  Services for Ed Andris, 86, of 414
West Avenue H., were held at 2:30,
today in the First Christian church.
Burial was at Fairlawn.
  Andris died at this home July 4,
He was ill for four months.
  Andris was born in Leroy, Illinois.
In 1887 he married Sarah Frances
Shively at Leroy.  He came to the
county in 1901 and in 1902 he set-
tled on a farm in Sandstone com-
munity northwest of the city.  He 
has lived in Elk City for the past
five years.
  Survivors include his wife of the
home, two sons, Joe of the city and
Leslie of Cheyenne, four daughters,
Mrs. Elizabeth O'Neill, Cheyenne;
Mrs. Elsie Kimmel, Paoli, Indiana;
Mrs. Gladys Gowdy of the city and
Mrs. Gertrude Francis, Long Beach,
California.
One daughter, Lana Blanche pre-
ceded him in death at the age of 
four.
  Also surviving are 14 grandchild-
ren and 21 great grandchildren.
