B. 02 May 1884 D. 06 Oct 1932 Fairlawn Cemetery Beckham Co OK Funeral services for James D. Angus, 48, were held this afternoon at 2 o'clock at the West Fairlawn cemetery with Rev. J. Albert Steele, Presbyterian minister, Of- ficiating. The death of Mrs. Angus last eve- ning at the home of G. L. Shroyer, on North Randall street termin- ated an illness of two years. He had been an invalid for several months preceding his death. RESIDENT HERE 8 YEARS Mrs. Angus had been a resident of Elk City for the past eight years. He was born in 1884 in West Virginia. He was married to Miss Mable Dedman, sister of Mrs. Shroyer, shortly after coming here. Members of the immediate fam- ily surviving Mr. Angus are his wi- dow and three children Margaret, Irene Faye and W. D. Angus. A daughter by a previous marriage lives in Port Arthur, Texas. Burial was made in the West Fairlawn cemetery. Grubitz and Son Funeral directors were in charge of arrangements. Elk City Newspaper 7 Oct 1932
