She departed this life Monday, January 29, 1968 in the Erick hospital. She was 87 years, 10 months, 19 days of aage. She was united in marriage to Richard S. Barker January 26, 1896 at Greenburg, Iowa. To this union 8 daughters and 5 sons were born. Her husband and two daughters Ruby, and Mildred, preceded her in death. Mrs. Barker and her husband came to the Reydcon community in 1908 where she has resided 60 years. She was a member of the Methodist church. She is survived by six daughters, Mrs. Hazel Howell, Mayfield; Mrs. Vera Byers, Truth or Consequence, New Mexico; Mrs. Leora Sullenberger, Phoenix, Arizona; Mrs. Edith Brown, Grimes; Mrs. Creda Miller, Texola; Mrs. Ruth Hughes, Los Alamos, New Mexico. Five sons, Fred, Phoenix, Arizona; Earl and Orville, Reydon; Glenn, Hay Camp, California; Arthur of Durham; 21 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren; 4 sisters, Mrs. Dollie Schillings, and Mrs. Eva Schillings, Jefferson, Iowa; Mrs. Ruth Bravard, Seal Beach, California; Mrs. Dora Webb, Des Moines, Iowa; other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held in the Reydon Community building Thursday, February 1, 1968 by Dr. Charles Simpson of Oklahoma City, assisted by Leland Burch. Interment was in the White Rose cemetery, Reydon, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma by the side of her husband who died in 1930. Cheyenne Star, Cheyenne, Ok
