S/O E.H. Arnold the two year old child of E.H. BEVERLY and wife of Willow, that was brought here for treatment the first of last week, died in Dr.SHADID'S sanitarium rooms on Thursday June 21,between twelve and one o'clock. The little fellow had the measels at Willow, which settled in his throat and continued to get worse-until the attending physicians there gave him up so we are informed, when the parents brought him to Carter and placed him under Dr.SHADID'S treatment. For a day or two he seemed to be getting better but on Thursday he made a change for the worse and Dr.DENBY was called in and although the physicians done all semmingly that cound be done to relieve the little ones suffering,it succumbed to death. Interment was made in the Carter cemetery Friday. The Express deeply sympathizes with the family over the loss of their babe for we know that its prattling young voice will be sorely missed from the home, and time itself is the only thing that will partially heal the sorrow and affliction caused by their little one's death. CARD OF THANKS We wish to Thank all of our friends who helped us so kindly during the illness and death of our Darling Baby,as well as all attending physicians. We also extent our heartfelt thanks for all subsequent acts of kindness.May you never be called upon to make this supreme sacrifice is our prayer. Mr.and MRs. E.H.BEVERLY Miss Levie GIBSON
