Obituary: The Carter Express, Carter, Beckham Co, Ok, 2 Dec 1927:
BICKET, JOHN T.
John T. Bicket was born Sept. 30, 1862, near Sparta, Ill., and died Nov.
29, 1927.
At the age of 14 years he was converted and united with the United
Presbyterian Church.  He came to Kansas at the age of 21 years.  He was
married to Fannie P. Marvin Feb 18, 1890 at Olathe, Kans.  To this union
were born 3 children: Agness (sic) R. Breeze, of Carter, Okla., and
Charles W. Bicket and Henry H. Bicket of Conway Springs, Kans.
With his family he moved to Oklahoma in the year of 1912.  He united with
the Presbyterian Church at Carter, Okla., and later at Conway Springs,
Kansas, where he lived for eleven years, coming back to Oklahoma two years
ago for his health.
He was always a loving husband and father.  He leaves to mourn his loss,
his wife, three children, eleven grandchildren and one great grandchild.
