Age 72 years 1 mo.and 4 days. He was married to Martha Ellen LANGLEY of Scott County, Ark.Sept.20,1874. To this union was born eight children, four sons and four daughters. Grandpa BLANCET confessed faith in Christ at the age of eighteen, united with the M.E. church South, and devoted his life to that cause. Besides his aged wife he leaves to mourn his loss, six children thirty two grandchildren and two great children, an aged brother, four sisters and a host of friends. The funeral services was held at Carter cemetery, conducted by the methodist minister of that place. Grandpa BLANCET will be remembered by many who read this as he came to Oklahoma as the opening of this state and helped pioneer it and lived to see the great progress. He was a kind and loving husband and father and has gone on to meet his two loving daughters that have preceded him.
