BROWN, LONDON
(10 Jun 1927, The Carter Express, Carter, Beckham Co, OK):
Mr. London Brown, who resided on the T. L. Breeze farm four miles north of
Carter, died in a hospital at Clinton on Friday night of last week.
Mr. Brown had been taken to the hospital the first of the week and
underwent an operation on Tuesday.  The operation is said to have been a
very difficult and serious one and his condition was considered critical
when he first arrived at the hospital.  Mr. Brown had underwent an
operation a few years back for a severe case of appendicitis and we
understand that where the incision was made at that time was where his
last trouble was located.
The remains were brought back to Carter cemetery for burial on Saturday
afternoon.
The deceased left a wife and several children and a large number of other
relatives to mourn his death.  He has one son, Walter, who is married and
is living in Clinton.
