   Mrs. Kate Buckner, wife of Earn Buckner of Carter, died at her home
   tuesday afternoon.
   
   Mrs. Buckner had been in bad health for a number of years and had been
   confined to her bed for several months, having been a sufferer of
   palagra and complications.
   
   The funeral services were held at the home Wednesday afternoon after
   which interment was made at the Carter Cemetary.
