BURCH, JAMES MONROE
(13 Aug 1915, The Carter Express, Carter, Beckham Co, OK):
Mrs. W. E. Hunt received the sad news Tuesday that her father, Mr. J. M.
Burch, had died at 3 o'clock Tuesday evening.  Although he had been sick
for several days, his death was very sudden and unexpected, as he died
while sitting in his chair.  Mrs. Hunt had just returned from Altus last
Sunday where she had been to see him, and upon learning of his death, she
and Mr. Hunt both departed on the morning train for Altus Wednesday
morning.
