BURTNETT, D. C.
(2 Feb 1906, Cheyenne Sun Beam, Cheyenne, Roger Mills Co, OK):
After an illness of more than six weeks, D. C. Burtnett died Monday
evening at his home in Croton township, four miles southeast of Hamburg. 
His death was due to an affection of the heart of several years standing.
The deceased was about 38 years of age, a native of Illinois, and removed
with his family from Nebraska to Oklahoma 3 years ago and soon afterward
took up his residence on a claim in Croton township.  He leaves a wife and
five children.
The remains were laid at rest in Rankin cemetery, Tuesday afternoon at 4
o'clock, Rev. Howe conducting the services at the grave.

D. C. Burnett died at his home north of Rankin, on Monday of last week. 
Interment in the Rankin cemetery.  Deceased leaves a wife and five
children.
