Funeral services for Ira Myrtle Cannon, 178 Herring Drive, Elk City, who
died Wednesday were held Friday at 2 p.m. at the Eastside Baptist church,
Elk City with Rev. H.P. Elliott officiating.
 Born in Sayre, July 3, 1907, Mrs. Cannon was married to Ray Cannon
October 9, 1926.
 She was a member of the Rebekah Order, Royal Neighobrs and the Baptist
Church.
 Survivors are her husband of the home; one daughter, Mrs. Jack Davis,
Elk City; two sons, Eddie of Elk City, Donald of Cordell, six
grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Percy McLeon, Sayre, Mrs. Wayne Waddle,
Sinton, Texas; her mother Mrs. W.H. Boyd, Sayre.
 Burial was in the Fairlawn cemetery at Elk City, Beckham County,
Oklahoma with the Savage Funeral home in charge of arrangements.
