CARTER, SARAH
(24 Feb 1922, The Carter Express, Carter, Beckham Co, OK):
Miss Sarah Carter died at her home here in Carter Sunday afternoon
following a serious illness with the flu and complications.
Miss Carter was an old settler in this part of the country having lived
here for a long time and had many friends here.  She was taken ill about
four weeks ago with the flu, which with complications caused her to grow
worse until Sunday evening when she passed away.
She leaves several brothers and a large number of other relatives. 
Interment was made at the Carter cemetery Monday afternoon.
