Charles moved to 816 E. Cambell, Pampa, Texas in January 1970. He passed away in the the Saint Anthony Hospital of Amarillo, Texas on March 14, 1970 at about 9:15 p.m. The Schbeler-Gordon funeral home removed him on March 16, 1970 for burial in the Sayre Doxey Cemetery. Conner Services Held At Sayre Charles Edwin Conner, Pampa, Texas died Sunday, March 15(sic), in the St. Anthony hospital, Amarillo, Texas, after an extended illness. Funeral services, were held Monday,(sic) at 10 a.m. in the First Baptist church, Sayre. Officiating were, Rev. Earl Madoux and Rev. Fred Woolard. Mr. Conner was married to Anetta(sic) Duree, and moved to Pampa Texas, in 1952.* He attended the First Baptist church and was a baker and custodian. Survivors are his wife of the home, one son, Paul and wife, Karen, and three grandchildren, Lisa, Lori, and Linda of Sayre.
