   Thelma Leona Brewer Cox was born November 17, 1909 in Grimes, Oklahoma
   to  Laura  and George Warren Brewer and passed away January 4, 2000 in
   the  Hensley  Nursing  Home, Sayre, Oklahoma at the age of 90 years, 1
   month and 17 days.
   Thelma married Thomas Carter Cox on May 19, 1928 in Arapaho, Oklahoma.
   They  lived  in the Grimes Community until World War II. They lived in
   ft.  Riley,  Kansas,  Milwaukee, Wisconsin and Manhattan, kansas. They
   lived  in  Fort Carson, Colorado until his retirement, when they moved
   to Fountain, Colorado. They later moved to Chickasah and Midwest City,
   Oklahoma before moving to Sayre in 1990 to make their home.
   She  was a member of the Soldier Creek Baptist Church in Midwest City,
   Oklahoma.
   She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 1 son, 3 daughters,
   6 brothers and 1 sister.
   Survivors  are  1  daughter and son-in-law, Ruth and Ira Isch, Edmond,
   Oklahoma;  1  son and daughter-in-law, Otis Lee and Agnes Cox, Norman,
   Oklahoma;  1  sister, Edith Marie Hamilton, Sacr5amento, California; 8
   grandchildren;   12   great   grandchildren;   and   1   great   great
   granddaughter, along with a host of other relatives and friends.
   Services  were  at  2:00  p.m.  Thursday,  January 6, 2000 at the Rose
   chapel officiated by Ray Smart. Interment was int he Dempsey Cemetery,
   Roger  Mills  County,  Oklahoma  under  the  direction  of Rose Chapel
   Funeral Service.
