Willard Cox of Cheyenne and Bro. Bill Williams of Cordell. Burial will follow in the Cheyenne Cemetery, Cheyenne, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma under the direction of the Martin Funeral Home. Mrs. Cunningham was born November 11, 1894 and died in the Community Hospital early Wednesday morning October 21, 1987 at the age of 92. She was born in Uvalde County, Texas, and she moved with her family from Texas to Hope, NM, to the Chisolm Ranch when she was a small child. She lived there until she was 16 years old, then the family moved to Cache, where they lived for about a year. She moved to Cheyenne after the death of her mother and lived with her older sister, where she lived until her marriage in May of 1913. Following her marriage, they lived in Granite for 10 years where her husband was employed by the Oklahoma State Reformatory. She returned to Cheyenne where she lived until 1969, when she moved to the Erick Nursing Home where she lived for a few months. Then she lived in the Cheyenne Nursing Home for a few years and had lived in the Elk City Nursing Home for the last 10 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert, Oct.27, 1962 and by 2 sons, Lyle and Basil Cunningham. Survivors include 5 children, Josephine Mayrhofen of Amarillo, Texas, Winnell Price of Abilene, Texas, Ophelia Hopkins of McAlester, Frank Cunningham of Germersheim, Germany, and Vina Young of Elk City. She is also survived by one cousin, Mrs. Georgia Harrison of Cheyenne. She raised 3 of her grandchildren, Shriley Yarber and Deloris Beck, both of Amarillo, and Bobby Mayrhofen of McAlester.
