BOWMAN, J. H.
(31 Mar 1916, The Carter Express, Carter, Beckham Co, OK):
DIED. - J. H. Bowman, who resided out on Route A, near Retrop, died on
Thursday, the 23rd, inst.  He had had trouble with one of his legs which
had been wounded a good many years ago, and same giving him more trouble
than usual here of late, he had underwent two operations, neither of which
seemed to do any good.  Finally the leg was amputated which also failed to
bring any relief.  (Retrop, Washita Co)
