CAMPBELL, MARY SUSAN
(Feb 1929, The Carter Express, Carter, Beckham Co, OK):
Mrs. J. H. Campbell, who with her husband and family has been a resident
of this community for about twelve years, died at a hospital at Elk City
Monday morning, after a long period of intense suffering.  She had
submitted to an operation in a vain hope for relief.
She had been a consistent member of the Baptist church for many years. 
She is survived by her husband and four children, Mrs. Bert Stewart and
Earl, Reul and Eldon Campbell.
Funeral services were held at the Holiness Church Tuesday afternoon,
conducted by Rev. J. L. Osborn.  After which her body was tenderly laid to
rest by loving hands in the Carter cemetery in the presence of a large
concourse of sorrowing relatives and friends.
