CHANDLER, SALLIE A.
(6 Apr 1928, The Carter Express, Carter, Beckham Co, OK):
Grandmother Chandler Died Monday At Home in Sayre.
Grandma Chandler, who formerly lived in Carter, died at the home of her
son, John Chandler, in Sayre, Monday.  Mrs. Chandler had reached the
advanced age of 86 when she passed away.  When they lived in Carter a
number of years ago she lived with her devoted son John, and family.
She had a large number of friends here who knew her well and who were made
sad when they learned of her passing away.
The remains were laid to rest in the Carter cemetery Tuesday afternoon.

We wish to thank each and every one of our friends and neighbors for their
kindness and help during the sickness and death of our mother and
grandmother, Sallie A. Kennemore, known as grandma Chandler.

Mr. and Mrs. Gus Ellwanger, granddaughter.
