Disler Dies. Death has again visited our town and taken from our midst a loving companion and a dear mother. Mrs. M. S. Disler died at her home here on Wednesday evening at 8:15 following a severe illness of diphtheria and complications. Mrs. Disler had been quite ill for several days during which time everything that medical science and good care could do was done and at one time it was thought that the disease had been checked but complications arose and she continued to grow worse until 8:15 on Wednesday evening when death came as a relief to her sufferings. Mrs. Disler was loved and highly respected by the people of Carter. She made many friends here while assisting her husband in the produce business, where she was a valuable assistant. Mrs. Disler leaves besides her husband, a sweet little daughter, Bettie Jane, who will miss the love and care of her dear mother, and all of Carter citizens extend to them and other relatives their deepest sympathies during their time of sorrow. The funeral services will be held at Elk City on Friday afternoon. --------------------------------------------------------- Return to Beckham County Archives: http://www.usgwarchives.net/ok/beckham/beckham.htm
