ESTES, LYDIA
(12 May 1916, The Carter Express, Carter, Beckham Co, OK):
DEATH OF MRS. ESTES.
Mrs. J. R. Estes, wife of Judge Estes who resided out south of Carter,
died last Sunday, May 7, after lingering illness of Bright's disease.
Miss (sic) Estes was a Pensylvanian (sic) by birth and was married to Mr.
Estes 27 years ago.  She leaves her husband and an only child, John, as
well as a host of friends to mourn her departure.
Her remains were shipped to El Reno for burial.
The Express joins the many friends of the deceased in extending condolence
to the bereaved relatives.
