Fallis, retired farmer, died suddenly at his home in Carter, April 4, 1993. He was born January 22, 1853, at New Castle, Mo., married December 19, 1883, to Pairlee Smith, in Texas, and came to Beckham county December 1900. He is survived by his wife and eight children: M. Earl Fallis, Lillie Davis, Andy O. Fallis, Syble Hoyle, and Letriece West, all of Carter; Rose Weaver and Wallis R. Fallis, both of Leveland, Texas; and Fannie Stone of Frederick. (The Elk City Daily News, Elk City, Beckham Co, Ok, 5 April 1933) William Richard Fallas, Carter, retired farmer, died suddenly at his home at Carter Tuesday. Funeral services will be held Thursday at the First Baptist church at Carter, it was announced by the Killough-Hullum funeral directors. Hour for the funeral had not been set today. Rev. French will officiate and burial will be at the Carter Cemetery. Mr. Fallis was 78 years old. He was born January 11, 1855, at New Castle, Mo., and was married December 19, 1883, at Illinois Bend, Texas, to Pairlee Smith. With his wife and family, he came to Beckham county in December 1900. He is survived by his widow and eight children. Children are: M. Earl Fallis, Mrs. Lillie Davis, Andy O. Fallis, Mrs. Syble Hoyl, and Mrs. Letriece West, all of Carter; Mrs. Fannie Stone of Frederick and Mrs. Rose Weaver and Wallis R. Fallis, both of Loveland, Texas.
