GILBERT, HANNA
(24 Sep 1920, The Carter Express, Carter, Beckham Co, OK):
DIED.  Grandma M. Gilbert died at her home here in Carter Sunday morning
after a long illness as the result of a stroke of paralysis.
Mrs. Gilbert was 78 years old at her death, and she left one daughter and
one son living.  Her daughter Mrs. Mollie Nixon, was with her constantly
during the serious part of her illness and cared for her as only a devoted
daughter could.  Her son lived out in Colorado.
The remains were laid away in the Carter cemetery Sunday evening, Rev. W.
B. Denton, pastor of the Baptist Church here, having charge of the funeral
services.  A large crowd of friends and relatives were present to pay
their respects to her memory.
