GROSS, WADE VERNON
(2 Jan 1914, The Carter Express, Carter, Beckham Co, OK):
DIED - Little Wade Vernon Gross, age 7 years, 11 months and 15 days old,
son of Mr. S. M. and Elisa Gross, died at the home of his grand parents
near Retrop, Christmas eve, and was burried (sic) Christmas day at Retrop
cemetery.  It was certainly a sad Christmas for Mr. and Mrs. Gross.  The
little fellow told his parents that he would spend his Christmas money for
a new suit of clothes instead of Christmas toys.  He got the new suit of
clothes alright but, sad to say, was burried in them.  The friends of Mr.
and Mrs. Gross offer condolence in this their darkest hours of bereavement
and trouble.
