Henson, of Amarillo, Texas, brother of Uncle Jack Henson of Carter, died at Amarillo on Thursday of last week. Mr. Henson was eighty years old at the time of death although he appeared to be much younger as had enjoyed good health up to something like a year ago when his health began to fail. He was at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Goodnight, at Amarillo when he passed away. Mr. Henson had visited Uncle Jack and the folks here a number of times and had made a lot of friends among the Carter people. Mr. Henson's home was at Panhandle City, he having lived there for many years. The remains were carried to that city for burial. Uncle Jack Henson and wife and Dude and K. T. of Carter, all attended the funeral. ---------------------------------------------------------- Return to Beckham County Archives: http://www.usgwarchives.net/ok/beckham/beckham.htm
