HENSON, CAROLINE
(5 Jul 1918, The Carter Express, Carter, Beckham Co, OK):
Grandma Henson Dies.  Grandma Henson, mother of Mr. K. T. Henson of
Carter, died at Oklahoma City on Tuesday last week, the remains being
brought to Doxey for burial on Thursday.
Mrs. Henson had been in failing health for quite a while and K. T. went
down to Oklahoma City to see her only a few days previous to her death,
her condition being serious at the time.
A large crowd was present at the funeral and it is stated that the floral
offering from the friends in the City, were immense and beautiful.  Mr. Ed
Kesler and wife of Carter attended the funeral, Mr. Henson and children
going up to Doxey in the car with Mr. and Mrs. Kesler.
