HOLLEY, DAVID
(17 Jun 1927, The Carter Express, Carter, Beckham Co, OK):
DIED.  Mr. Dave Holley of Altus, formerly a citizen of this part of the
country, died at his home in Altus last Friday evening, following an
illness of several months, being afflicted with cancer.
Mr. Holley was a brother of Grandmother Witherspoon of Carter who was at
Altus with him when he died.
Mr. and Mrs. Frank Witherspoon, Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Witherspoon and their
sister Miss Nila Witherspoon all drove down to Altus Saturday afternoon to
attend the funeral.
