He leaves a father, mother, two sisters and three brothers to mourn his loss. The loss that is sad to them is his gain. Frank was a bright, promising young man, with the prospects of a useful life. Weep not loved ones, God knew best. He left a thriving business at Anadarko, Okla., where he was striken (sic) with typhoid fever. After patiently bearing his suffering there several weeks, the longing for home and loved ones prompted him to return to his parents D. B. and Clara Jones, who reside near Carter, Okla., where he peacefully passed away Saturday morning. Frank was converted, having joined the church when about 17 and ever lived a pure and upright life, with a kindness to all, and a fealty to his many friendships. All was done that loving hearts and willing hands could do to prolong his life, but all too soon the icy hand of death was laid upon his brow and the spirit returned to the God who gave it. As the long procession slowly wended its way to the silent city of the dead the sad tolling of the bell told us that we were nearing the spot that would forever hide from view all that was mortal of our dear friend. --------------------------------------------------- Return to Beckham County Archives: http://www.usgwarchives.net/ok/beckham/beckham.html
