KENNEMER, DAVID NEWTON
(1 Oct 1926, The Carter Express, Carter, Beckham Co, OK):
DIED.
Mr. D. N. Kennemer, a prominent citizen of the Retrop community, died at
his home near Retrop on Tuesday afternoon of this week.
Mr. Kennemer has been ill for a long time having been afflicted with a
complication of diseases, and although the best of skill was employed he
continued to grow worse until death relieved his sufferings and put to end
a useful life.
The remains were laid to rest in the Retrop cemetery on Wednesday afternoon.
Mr. Kennemer leaves besides his wife, several children, grand children and
a host of other relatives and friends who are deeply grieved at his death.
The deceased was the father of Mr. Mathies Kennemer, owner of the City
Meat Market.
