MADDOX, EARNEST D.
(29 Jun 1923, The Carter Express, Carter, Beckham Co, OK):
DIED - Earnest, 20 year old son of Harve Maddox and wife of Port, who has
been afflicted for about a year, died Saturday and was buried in the Port
cemetery Sunday, Rev. Luther Davis, pastor of the Methodist church at
Port, conducting the funeral.  The boy remained conscious until the last,
surrendered to the Lord and was saved a few minutes before death came, was
the testimony given by Rev. Davis.
