PARK, JOHN
(18 Jul 1913, The Carter Express, Carter, Beckham Co, OK):
Mr. John Parks (sic), a well known and highly respected citizen living on
his farm four miles west of Carter, died Wednesday of this week, after a
lingering illness of kidney troubles.  Mr. Parks was a pioneer citizen
having located on this place many years ago.  He leaves a number of
relatives and friends who mourn his untimely demise.  His remains were
laid to rest in the Carter Cemetery yesterday at noon, after an
appropriate ceremony.
(19 Jul 1913, Beckham County Advocate, Carter, Beckham Co, OK):
John Park, 4 miles west of Carter, died about 1 o'clock p.m. Wednesday. 
His death was caused by a complication of diseases and exhaustion due to
old age.  He was about 74 years old.
