POARCH, MARIE CATHERINE.
(21 Sep 1928, The Carter Express, Carter, Beckham Co, OK):
Mrs. T. W. Poarch died at her home here in Carter on Monday night having
been seriously ill with a complication of diseases for some time.
Mrs. Poarch and her family were among the early settlers of this part of
the country and have lived here most of the time since the early day,
hence has a large circle of acquaintances and very dear friends.  She was
a sweet motherly lady and was loved by all who knew her.
She leaves a husband, several children and grand children and a large
number of other relatives.
The funeral services were held at the Baptist Church on Tuesday evening,
Rev. Etheridge of Erick preaching the funeral.
The floral offerings were beautiful.  A large crowd was present at the
church and also at the cemetery.

We wish to express our sincere thanks for the kindness and assistance show
us in the death of our dear wife and mother.
