(1 Feb 1923, The Carter Express, Carter, Beckham Co, OK):
MRS. G. W. POTEET DIES.
Mrs. G. W. Poteet, a former resident of Carter, died at her home at
Wellington, Texas, on the 15th inst.  (sic). Mrs. Poteet and her husband
have many friends here who will be sorry to hear of her death.
