RIDDLE, FLORA
(23 Nov 1917, The Carter Express, Carter, Beckham Co, OK):
DIED.  Mrs. Andy Riddle died rather suddenly at her home in Southern Texas
last Saturday and the remains were shipped to Carter for burial.
The news of her death came as a very unexpected shock to her relatives
here, as she was only ill a few days before her death.
Mr. and Mrs. Riddle were former residents of Carter and have several
relatives here, as well as many friends.  Mrs. Riddle was a sister of Mrs.
Bill Boydston and Mrs. Bessie Tabor.
The funeral services were held at the Methodist Church Wednesday evening
after which interment took place at Carter cemetery.

Mr. J. M. Royce, Andy Riddle, and Mrs. Bessie Tabor, all left Sunday for
their home in southern Texas.  Mr. Riddle's wife of whom we mentioned last
week as dying suddenly and was brought here for burial, was the daughter
of Mr. Royce, and a sister of Mrs. Tabor.
