STEELE, WILLIE  F.
(27 Oct 1911, Carter Express, Carter Beckham Co, OK):
DIED. - Willie Franklin Steele, 23, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Steele.  Some
time ago Willie went to Kansas to visit relatives.  While there he decided
to work in the harvest, and got over heated.  His mother went after him
and brought him home, where he gradually grew weaker, until last Saturday
night, his mother and father heard him struggling and went to his bed to
find him breathing his last.  A hearse was driven out from Sayre to
receive his remains, and they were taken to the Carter cemetery, followed
by a large concourse of friends who had previously listened to Rev. A. T.
Fitzgerald preach an able funeral sermon.
