WALLACE, J. F.
(30 Sep 1921, Carter Express, Carter, Beckham Co, OK):
Mr. J. F. Wallace, a prominent farmer of the Retrop community, (Washita
County) died of typhoid fever Sunday.  Mr. Wallace was one of the most
prominent citizens of that part of the country.  The Retrop school
dismissed Monday afternoon for the funeral.
A brother of Mr. Wallace was killed by lightning about a year ago.
