  Funeral services for Mrs. Arminda
Cilvana Banks Evans were held at
3:30 Thursday afternoon at the
Church of God with Miss Ruth
Cochran, assistant pastor, officiat-
ing.
  Mrs. Evans died Wednesday at
her home at 903 West Avenue D.
  She was born June 28, 1863 in
Murray county, Mo.  She was 75
years, 10 months and 10 days of 
age.  She moved to Hill county Tex.
in 1878 and was married to W. H.
Evans September 21, 1882.  To this
union were born eight children.
  Mrs. Evans was preceded in death
by her husband and three children.
  Those surviving include:
  Mrs. Ellen Darby, Cedar Hill,
Tex.; Mrs. Sallie Banks, Mrs. Bes-
sie Hix, Mrs. Evia Rusk and Bill
Evans, all of Elk City.
  Others surviving  include 30 grand
children and 10 great grandchil-
dren.
  Interment was to be made at
the Fairlawn Cemetery.
