G. L. DAVIS DIED SUNDAY Was a Well Known Resident of the Liberty Hill Section Mrs. G. L. DAVIS, a well known resident of the Liberty Hill section, passed away on Sunday last after an illness of several years. Three years ago the dread tuberculosis fastened itself upon this lady, and while a two-year residence at Colorado Springs undoubtedly lengthened her life, it proved no real cure. Last fall she returned to her home near Murphy Gin, and for a time seemed materially improved, but, death came as mentioned. Funeral services were held from the Lone Oak church on Monday afternoon, with interment at the Lone Oak cemetery, and were very largely attended by neighbors and friends, by whom this lady was highly respected. The bereaved family has the sympathy of the entire county. Note from record: Born 1880 Died 5 Feb 1922 Wife of George L. DAVIS (1878-1964)
