DAVIS, CALLIE
(20 Feb 1920, The Carter Express, Carter, Beckham Co, OK):
Mrs. Callie Davis, wife of Gee Davis, died at her home here in Carter
Wednesday morning about 10 o'clock of pneumonia and confinement.  A new
born infant of the deceased was buried just a couple of days before Mrs.
Davis' death.
The news of Mrs. Davis' death came as a severe shock to the people of
Carter for there was no more popular woman living in the town as she was
one of the friendliest persons with everybody that we have ever met.  She
will sure be missed by the people here.
She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. R. Thomas residing southwest of town.
The Express family extend their deepest sympathy to the grief-stricken
husband and parents and other relatives.
